NYRx Education & Outreach Team Ensuring Timely Medication Access and Support for NYSDOH Stakeholders
The NYRx Education and Outreach (E&O) Team assists the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and its stakeholders by ensuring members receive their medications in a timely manner, facilitating intervention and access for medically complex cases, providing detailed information about NYRx drug coverage, prior approval requirements, and NYRx enrolled pharmacies. This team assists NYSDOH by publishing timely communications, escalating any NYRx-related issues, and supporting care coordination with Managed Care Plans and New York State agencies.
