MSSNY Tracking Ongoing Financial Difficulties Stemming from Change Healthcare Hack

Health care providers are experiencing ongoing financial difficulties seven months after a cyberattack on UnitedHealth Group’s Change Healthcare business. The Medical Society of the State of New York has an ombudsman compiling doctors’ complaints, with MSSNY President Dr. Jerome Cohen telling the Wall Street Journal it means millions of dollars in missing reimbursements and a growing workload. “It’s multiple complaints across all specialties,” he says.
